Joining him on stage will be Pietro Tonolo, one of Europe’s most influential saxophonists; Alessandro Presti on trumpet, one of the most interesting voices of the new generation of Italian jazz; Alfonso Santimone on piano; and Gabriele Evangelista on double bass. The album marks a return to his roots and the style that has made him a benchmark of contemporary Italian songwriting: a fusion of intimacy and melancholy. 1998, the artist's seventh studio album, contains the singles "Mal di te," "Ti manca l'aria," "Qualcosa di grande," and "Mr. Nobody."
